I have tried resetting the router with both the reset button on the back and resetting the router in the admin page that pops up when it cant connect. Connect the modem to your belkin router using an ethernet cable.

Belkin router won t connect to modem. The router didnt come with another ethernet so i got confused. If i connect an old netgear router to the modem it works fine.
