Why cruise control does not work. It was working completely fine one day and then went to use it the next day and it wouldnt work.

I had a problem with a older gm product and found that if the cab high mount brake light is out the cruise will not work they used that circuit as the ground for the relay. I do not have the ability to type that much or the knowledge to copy and paste the page but a dealer should be able to print of the page it is page 9 27. The little green cruise control light wont turn on or anything. And yes it was over 30 mph it was trying to set to speed. I use cruise control a lot and i need to fix this issue. I have a 05 chevy 2500hd with 275000 miles on it. 73 157 posts. Not sure but if there is a code it may not work. Auto repair guys 67356 views.
