I used the following for my three wire hookup to the engine harness from the aaw accessories connector. This is in my 69 camaro with aaw classic update harness.

Car cranks and theres fuel but no spark. A bad maf and no iat might make it run poorly but it should still start. 53 ls swap running on the engine stand no vats delete.
