So here is the list of the things i have already tried. Not a grumble from it.
Please Help Remote Accessed Administrator Disabled Install
My cloud remote access disabled. It was working fine up until yesterday and since then it tells me remote access has been disabled. It was usually all 3 4 years old. The drive was working perfectly happy before this for well over a year. The web page should open. Sometimes when all else fails performing a 40 second reset and re configuring the my cloud can fix some issueserrors. You cant login via a computer ie.
As a drive or a tablet phone. The mycloud app gives the same message remote access disabled. You may need to login hopefully youve password protected your device 2click on the settings option on the top menu. Whenever i try to connect to my cloud app it wont let me. I have read many topics on this issue but none of it was really helpful. I thought the best way to disable remote access was to go into the dashboard click settings and turn cloud service to off.
If your device is named wdmycloud youd type in wdmycloud and hit enter. Obviously i havent changed anything so i am currently away from home trying to access my hd through the app on my iphone. Are you sure you would like to proceed. I can still access it through my pc and macbook though. I got a message saying by turning off cloud service you will not be able to use any of the wd software such as my cloud wd photos mobile app and wd sync. See dashboard cloud access.
Scroll the page to cloud access and verify it is set to off or turn off if it is on. Sometimes one can fix remote access problems by turning remote access off and wait five to ten minutes then enable remote access. Nor is there access via the remote login page httpwdmycloudlocalui unless you restart the drive all the time.
