Can somebody please help a new boat owner. Boat has dual battery setup and did have a loose wire on the back of the perko switch that i tightened last weekend.

No power to dash on boat. Hello guys i have a 2011 sd188 ob. All others have no power radio bilge lights all gauges except fuel still work. Its also possible you have a buss bar connection that is just a distribution point to power the dash components. I have a bayliner capri. On my boat it was a white connector with about 10 wires that was hanging right under the dash. New battery all fuses under the dash are good the 50 amp breaker on the engine is set.
There is no power to my panel and to my ignition switch and my boat engine wont turnover. Only switch that still works is the master power and horn. The relay could be completely blown and you would still get power to the dash. Check battery cable connections for corrosion checked kill switch that was just replaced last year wiggled canon plug i think it was the canon plug. The battery cable goes from the hot side of the battery to one of the posts on the relay and the power to the 50a breaker and whole dash is merely spliced off that same input post of the relay. Went and got the truck and loaded the bu on the trailer and pulled it 10 miles back to marina.
