Rostra cruise control surging. 1 rostra claims initial engagement speed as low as 33 mph. The rostra is not very well setup for high power low weight vehicles such as a c 14. As well rostra manufactures universal cruise control units that often require the purchase of additional items to function with certain vehicles including vehicle speed signal vss generators and control switches. This is the cause of the surging. February 26 2016 025849 pm my advice would be not to use the cruise control in any gears other than 5th or 6th preferably 6th and at any speeds below about 50.
